68. The Modern Day Libido Killer That Is Getting In The Way Of Sexual Intimacy

The majority of people now days have an addiction to technology which has a significant impact on their sex life and relationship. The stats are incredible. In this episode Nick and Amy discuss an article from Emily Jamea called "The Modern Day Libido Killer" found HERE, and also share insights from an article from The 80/80 marriage, about how technology is killing our sex lives and relationships. If you and your spouse are not having sexual intimacy on a regular basis, technology is most likely one of the major reasons for this. In this day and age our minds are so consumed and distracted, it's hard to pay attention to sexual cues, feel in sync with our spouse, and get in the right frame of mind for sex.

We took a poll on instagram to see what you think and get your thoughts and the results are quite incredible. We asked:

  • Does technology keep you from connecting with your spouse?
  • Do you have less sexual intimacy because of technology?
  • Who is more addicted to their phone in marriage (husband or wife)?

We also share some astonishing facts:

  • How many times do you think the average person touches their phone per day?
  • How many hours per day does the average adult spend on technology?
  • 50% of people admit to experiencing full-on behavior addiction to their phones.

We also share a quiz from 80/80 Marriage on how to know if you have an addiction to the internet/technology. Want to know if you are addicted? Click HERE
