127. Are Expectations In Marriage Good Or Bad? And Our Valentines Poll Answers

We all go into marriage with expectations of what we think it should be like, and are often disappointed when things don't go as we expect. So, are expectations in marriage good or bad? Is it healthy to have expectations?
In this episode Nick and Amy talk about expectations in marriage and share experiences in their relationship.

Communication is key when it comes to holidays.  Having some expectations can be healthy but it is important to always talk and express them to your spouse!  We give some tips for communicating and working with expectations in marriage!

We also share all of our poll answers from our Valentines survey we took on instagram stories! We wanted to know how many couples celebrate Valentines, what husbands and wives want most, and what they would love to be surprised with most. We also asked if Valentines Day causes contention in some marriages.  The answers will shock you, and give you ideas of what your spouse might love to be surprised with!
